We’ve got a very special post for you today. Introducing Her Holiness, the Divine, Justinia V! The Divine is the leader of the Chantry, which is based out of the Grand Cathedral in Val Royeaux. The Divine carries a heavy burden of responsibility as the leader of the Chantry. Below her are the grand clerics, each one representing a different nation in the Dragon Age world, making the Chantry the largest unified organization in the known world.

Dragon Age: Dawn of the Seeker will finally give fans of the Dragon Age franchise their first look at the Chantry’s Grand Cathedral located in Val Royeaux. This major religious organization is based on the Chant of Light, a series of teachings written by Andraste, the warrior-prophet of the Maker. The Chantry’s goal is to spread the Chant of Light to the whole world in the hopes of returning their deity’s favor to humanity. The leadership of the Chantry is made up entirely of women, a state ensured by canny politicking and tradition as much as by articles of faith.
